There are three extremely important matters to be addressed in this
essay: First, the scientific nature and accuracy of the Bible;
Second, 'intelligent design' - what it really is; and Third, the crime
of abortion, which is legalized murder. It is past time to cease
'beating around the bush' and 'skirting the issue', and squarely face
the truth on these subjects, plus one more which shall be identified
further on.
SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE
As to the scientific nature and accuracy of the Bible, there is not a man
- past, present, or future who can successfully deny that the Bible is
the most scientific book ever written, or to come. Herbert Spencer
(1820-1903), British philosopher, announced that scientifically there
are five factors in the transition from the "unknowable" to the
"knowable." These were identified as TIME, FORCE, ACTION, SPACE,
and MATTER; he apparently achieved great acclaim for his announcement.
QUESTION: how did Moses include all of these in the first verse of
the Bible? Moses never attended a university, took a science course,
nor was he a 'man of letters'. Yet, he mentioned every factor named by
Spencer - "In the beginning (TIME), God (FORCE), created (ACTION),
the heavens (SPACE) and the earth (MATTER).
The Bible is not a science textbook but is always scientifically correct
when speaking on that subject. It is impossible to be any other way
because God is the author of both science AND the Bible, while man is
the author of neither science NOR the Bible. The apostle Paul
instructed Timothy to avoid "profane and vain babblings of science
falsely so-called" (I Timothy 6:19; science of this sort has been wrong
many times - the Bible, NEVER.
Other scientific information in the Bible addresses medical hygiene,
blood, circumcision, astronomy, and archaeology, among many more - all
available upon request. There is no charge or obligation for this

INTELLIGENT DESIGN
Much attention is focused upon the term 'intelligent design' these
days. Usually, it refers to a choice between teaching and believing in
evolution, or, in intelligent design, as the origin of the universe
and all living organisms. The truth is that the only choice possible
is between organic evolution and blind chance as the origin - or - to
believe in God as creator. Organic evolution is not true: it now has no
proof for its false claims, it never has been proven, and it will never
find proof in the future ! If ONE champion will come forward with
proof, he should do so and resolve the matter. Not long ago the
world renowned promoter of skepticism was soundly defeated, failing
miserably to defend his position. He was honest enough to announce to
the world that "design demands a designer'" and that he believes in
God. 'Intelligent design' refers to Jehovah, Almighty God; the world
of scoffers and skeptics needs to 'wake up' before it is everlastingly
too late.
ABORTION or
SUBJECT OF ROE vs. WADE
ABORT means to miscarry as in birth, "to fail to be completed," and to
"cut short," as in action or operation, such as a flight or mission.
Every informed adult recognizes these simple facts; they pose no problem
whatsoever. Abortion is a different matter because it means not only
miscarriage, it also means "any deliberate procedure that removes, or
induces the explusion of , a living or dead embryo or fetus." (Webster
New World College Dictionary). A very solemn and serious problem has
emerged concerning this "deliberate procedure" commonly referred to as
abortion, the taking of life of a baby during pregnancey.
'Pro-choice' is the term employed by advocates of abortion to defend the
killing of babies. Legalized murder is the only description of abortion
that fits the practice of such a crime. It does not require
rocket-science intelligence to an honest and open mind to understand and
agree with this conclusion.
A little common sense (which isn't always as 'common' as it should be)
is all that's needed just here. For example, when our family pets
breed, what is the result? What do we expect? Rabbits always produce
the same as the parent, NEVER anything but a baby rabbit ! The same is
true for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ducks, etc.etc. It will always be
so, there is no way to change this fact; the point being that like
begets like - animal or human conception - and life begins when the egg
is fertilized and NOT when birth takes place. This is proven by the
fact that in a human female, when the ova is fertilized, the process of
birth is instantly begun, and NO OTHER conception is even possible
until birth is complete ! Just as we know for certain that pigs produce
pigs, from conception to birth, the same process is true in humans and
WILL NOT CHANGE ! Those who argue that we cannot know when the fetus
becomes a human are using sophisticated sophistry to pull the wool over
the eyes of gullible 'graspers at straws' !
Until now, it has been shown with common sense that in the instant of
conception the identity of the creature is determined. From conception,
the process is simply development as pre-determined by its parents until
birth; identity does not change, can not change, and is un-changeable -
which soundly defeats organic evolution. As further proof, inspired of
God, observe the testimony of David (Psalms 139: 15-16):
"My frame was not hidden from thee,
When I was made in secret,
And curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my unformed substance,
And in thy book they were all written,
Even the days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was none of them."
Solomon stated plainly (Ecclesiastes 11:5) this fact:
"As thou knowest not what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones
do grow in the womb of
her that is with child; even so thou knowest not the work of God
who does all."
All this is too clear and plain to be misunderstood, too true to be
denied, and too correct to be argued with; not only did God name the
fetus as the person to be born, He also tells us the proccess was
decided prior to conception !
Therefore, when a woman has an abortion, she is murdering her own child.
NOW ! What is the difference between human sacrifice and abortion? The
first is taking life outside the body, the second is taking life inside
the body; both are human beings. Not one single lawyer or anyone else,
is capable of proving that the human sacrifice is MURDER but that the
abortion is NOT ! Abortion is approved by those who sin sexually, then
refuse to accept responsibility for the natural , God-given result - a
HUMAN BEING !. Not only so, but who aid and abet their wrong-doing!
No one has the right to decide who shall live or who shall die - NOT
mothers, fathers, criminals, murderers, or doctors, - regardless of all
their arguments to the contrary.
For all who claim to believe the Bible, rest assured the foregone is all
true, and take confidence from these passages:
"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but
whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 11:4).
Copulation is right ONLY in marriage; this truth would greatly reduce
the problem of abortion, if obeyed. Two wrongs will never make right,
no matter what the circumstance.
"Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own
wife and let every woman have her own husband." ( I Corinthians 7:2).
The great number of men and women in America or around the world,
living together in a sexual relationship, unmarried , are violating
God's law, committing sin. Nothing can justify or condone this evil!
"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the
womb is His reward." (Psalms 127:3). All who dare to defy God in
performing abortions will pay in the judgment for eternity; there will
also be enormous suffering here, as well as hereafter. It is a colossal
tragedy that the consequences of wanton immorality are ignored for a few
moments of sexual gratification. The Bible declares that we reap what
we sow, a law which cannot be changed (Galatians 6:7-8).
In short, abortion takes life, whereas God gives life; one fosters
hatred, the second fosters love. The family is to be propagated ONLY
in marriage; sex outside the bonds of matrimony is wrong (Genesis 2:24,
Revelation 21:8).
The solution to this , and all sin, is to be baptized (immersed) in order
to be forgiven and wash away sin (Acts 22:16). We extend the
invitation of Christ to come and find rest for your souls.
SIN or INHERITED TRAIT
The practice of homosexuality goes back into the history of man. In this
discourse the origin, the when, the where, and the who are not addressed.
This essay is motivated only by the fact of its existence and whether it
is right or wrong.
One simple fact firmly establishes that it is wrong: if everyone became
homosexual, it would toll the death knell of the human race in a very
short time ! That is plain and simple enough reasoning which cannot be
denied, even tho there could be some foolhardy souls who disagree.
Peter stated, "We have a more sure word of teaching," to which we now
turn to "prove all things." The Bible is the source of truth, to which
we just now referred, which provides the answers to "all things that
pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:19, I Thessalonians 5:17, 2
Peter 1:3).
To get straight to the heart of the matter we quote the apostle Paul (I
Corinthians 6:9-10): "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not
inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor
idolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves,
nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit
the Kingdom of God" (NASV, NIV KJV versions). There it is,
impossible to misunderstand or refute: homosexuality is condemned, NOT
condoned. It is a sin, NOT an inherited trait (which has been
thoroughly researched and proven false). Human genes determine human
characteristics; sin, disease, life-style, and homosexuality are NOT in
that category.
The "Rest of the story" gives hope through obedience to Christ, and
homosexuality can be forgiven, sins blotted out, as Paul wrote in I
Corinthians 6:11: "And such were some of you, but you were washed
(baptized), but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name
of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."
As Paul expressed his heart's desire in Romans 10:1, so our heart's
desire and prayer to God for all men everywhere is for their salvation.
We "preach the gospel which is Christ crucified" to persuade men to
come to repentance which is God's will (2 Peter 3:9).
"Come, let us reason together," said Isaiah; we are ready and willing.
